What I Wish I Had Done Differently in School

Why Do You Feel This Way?

Sigmund Freud

I would have pushed my insecurities away, told myself there is nothing I can’t do and meant it! I would have followed my dreams to  obtain a Psy.D and not stopped with a Bachelor’s Degree and a few Graduate courses. Laziness would not be a word in my dictionary. People would have called me Fearless Leader and not “Libra girl who can’t make a decision and is too lazy to keep going.” I should have, I could have but I didn’t. Was it wrong decision? Not really, it was right for me at the time.

  1. We have to recognise that sometimes we would make different choices but sometimes there are no alternatives.
The things that you have learnt the most from are the things that were wrong. The longer lasting effects are the thinking of alternative outcomes and Why.
Put your stick that you beat yourself up with down stand away from the stick. Love your blog. I have just started bogging and currently working on my blog and would appreciate any help or comments thanks 🙂

  2. Yup, I agree. We make the best decisions we can with the experience, information and capabilities we have at any one time.

For me when I think of regrets I ask myself if I’ve learned from that decision/experience. If I have then it’s not a regret. If I haven’t then I still need to figure what I still need to know now that I didn’t know then either.

It too easy to beat myself up with 20/20. Your post is right on.
