It has been cloudy, humid and gray for the last two weeks where I live. No sight of the sun, anywhere. I desperately need to see some bright “YELLOW” to cheer me up. This is my contribution for this week: I like how the different colors play off each other. Have a happy, yellow week.
Ahh… Yellow. I have yellow Lantana blooming and a Tiger Swallowtail that visits, so the colors are bright and soothing at the same time. I wonder if yellow flowers bloom more in this type of weather. I miss the sunshine and butterflies, but for now it looks like more rain.
The birds seem okay and the crows are all calling. Night brings on the tree frogs and bats. Dragonflies abound where they never were before!
Take good care and find your ‘yellow’ wherever you can 🙂 Hoping the sun shines on our doors soon!
Your Sis,
Michelle.

I like your idea about searching for how to bring back the sunny, cool weather. I would say if you don’t get a good answer we can always sail off in the ark with Stretch to better climes, but I’m not sure where that would be right now. I heard Hawaii is getting lots of humidity, there are fires out West, floods up and down the East Coast and Midwest….maybe we need to run off to Stretchland where the sun always shines. 😉

THANK YOU Laurie! Stretch and I needed this burst of color today, too. It’s been such a dreary week and the first 3 days of the week the apartment complex sent workers to replace our siding and rebuild the terrace. WHAT A RACKET! We’re finally enjoying some peace and quiet today, although it’s still raining. I’ve been searching on line for instructions on how to build an ark!
