Happy Yellow Friday, Roses

YellowRoses

Beautiful, Happy, Yellow Roses. At one time they brought me utter delight, at another they brought me despair and heartbreak. A different day, a different situation. Total miscommunication.

I choose just to look at the happiness of the stunning flowers. I accept, though it is hard, that some things just can’t be worked out or understood. No matter how much you want to be heard, some people will not hear you. That’s Life. You tried, move on. It’s complicated.

Happy Yellow Friday #10 Buttercups

WELCOME 2015!
The start of a New Year deserves a happy song to go with a beautiful, happy image. Here we go:

Happy Yellow Friday #7

Feeling grumpy? Weather got you down? I know the feeling. There is one iconic face that is sure to change your mood. The ultimate in smiles, simple, sweet, and probably overused. But, you just can’t get mad when you see this smiling face. Indoor sunshine, good for a chuckle when you need one. Enjoy! Have a great weekend everybody!!

I am not into fancy cars, a car is just a means of transportation for me. If I won the lottery I wouldn’t buy an expensive car, the only car I have ever wanted was a Yellow Volkswagen Beetle.

Not the new Man Beetle, the Beetle from a few years ago, the one that had a small vase in the front for a flower, a daisy.Ā  It was the perfect baby boomer car. It’s still a car, I think, that is just meant for me to drive.Ā  Happy Yellow Friday to all.

Happy Yellow Friday #4 Daffodils

Near where I live there is a field of daffodils that bloom every year. I wait months for these beautiful flowers to bloom, I drive by, even if it is out of my way, to watch them pop up, fully bloom, slowly fade away.

I look forward to seeing them every year, the time that they are alive and fresh, as if they are smiling, is only a matter of a few days but I stop the car each day and I smile back every time I see them. The are on a hill with bright green, manicured grass and it looks like a perfect photograph. I tried once to photograph them but it was unsuccessful, you must need a wide-angle lens.

That’s okay, I have loved them for so many years that the picture I have of them lives in my heart. I am grateful for having been able to see this for the last 15 years. I look forward to seeing them again in theĀ  Spring.

Happy Yellow Friday #2

Some people are pure chocolate lovers, some do half and half. Me? I’m a sunny vanilla fan. Yellow cake and frosting, sweetness lingering on my tongue with a glass of milk to wash it down. Heavenly.

It doesn’t have to be from a fancy bakery or take long, arduous hours to make. It could be a wonderful, store-bought Twinkie as a rare but very special treat:

Happy Yellow Friday

In the past there were groups on favorite colors with deadlines and stress. This Happy Yellow Friday is for anyone who loves the color yellow like I do. Once a week, on Fridays I will post something that has yellow in it.

Feel free to post photos you like with yellow in it here too. I do this at the very start of Winter which really makes me Blue.
