Laurie passed away a month ago, three months after contracting an extremely rare and poorly understood lung disease. She was 58, and leaves behind her husband, two adult children, her mother, her sister, her niece, her nephew, and countless friends from both the physical and the online worlds.
It is very difficult to summarize Laurie’s life in only a few words. Rather, let her blog speak for her now that she can no longer speak herself.
